PARTNER offers free workshops and credit counseling for Gateway Neighborhood residents who want to take steps toward homeownership. Whether you’re just starting or already planning to apply for a mortgage, our team can help you prepare with clear information and trusted support.

What These Workshops Cover

Buying a home can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve never done it before. Our workshops break the process down into simple, practical steps and connect residents to resources that can make homeownership possible.

  • Understanding the homebuying process from start to finish

  • Credit basics and how to improve your score

  • Budgeting, saving, and planning for future costs

  • Mortgage basics and what lenders look for

  • Down payment assistance programs and local resources

These workshops are designed for residents of Perth Amboy’s Gateway Neighborhood. Priority may be given to residents participating in housing assistance programs or those working toward financial stability goals.
