  Creative Placemaking Plan recently won the American Planning Association’
 s “Outstanding Plan for 2016 – Municipal”. The plan focuses on ways Perth 
 Amboy can use arts and culture to empower economic and community developme
 nt. The plan was developed with funding from an “Our Town” grant from the 
 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)\, which the city received\, as well 
 as from funds from the Dodge Foundation. \n\nA Creative Team of 20 artists
 \, stakeholders and officials from Perth Amboy developed the plan over the
  course of two years.\n
